Bragg Plumbing & Heating "Comfort Club"

And a place that is supposed to function while providing all of this.” When your home is too hot, too cold or doesn’t have hot water, your home is no longer your place of comfort. Furnace, air-conditioner or water heater failures can almost always be traced to a lack of maintenance and in many cases just plain dirt! Why Is Maintenance on My Homes’ Comfort System’s Important?

Very simply, properly maintained equipment runs better, lasts longer and is more energy efficient than non-maintained equipment. You wouldn’t think of not changing the oil in your automobile for 100,000 miles, yet many homeowners haven’t changed the filters in their furnace in years. It is safe to say that over 90% of the service calls we go on, could have been prevented had the equipment been properly maintained and cleaned. It is no surprise that when systems fail, they do so when it is most inconvenient and emergency service is more costly. Keeping your equipment well maintained is the best way to minimize failures, expensive emergency calls and maximize energy efficiency. You will end up paying for the cost of maintenance agreement anyway – and even more so. Without keeping your equipment maintained, you face higher utility costs and a greater number of repairs at the worst peak time and shorter equipment life. The Comfort Club maintenance agreement reduces those nearly certain expenses while adding property value and peace of mind.

The following components are maintained:

Furnace – We perform maintenance according to manufacturers recommendation and our own experience. Replace standard filters, clean equipment, oil blower motor and perform safety inspection. Necessary repairs if any, are extra.

Air Conditioner -- We perform maintenance according to manufacturers recommendation and our own experience. Clean equipment, coil (dirty coils are the primary cause of expensive compressor failures) and perform safety inspection. Necessary repairs if any, are extra.

Water Heater – Drain and flush tank. Check anode rod for excessive wear. Safety inspect water heater. The anode rod will be replaced (generally every 3-5 years depending on water conditions) if needed for an extra charge. Additional repairs if any, are extra.

Number of Visits:

We schedule two visits per year. Typically one in the spring and one in the fall, however visits may be scheduled at other times during the year as well.
